Last Posting for TKAM due 3/9/13 at 11:59pm

Well, we've made it to the last week of our TKAM study.

This week, I want you to answer this question:

How has the theme you have followed throughout the book played out in the readings?  Let's use this as a practice for the NYS Assessment.  

Requirements:

1. State the theme (for example:  One of the themes of TKAM is how youthful innocence can protect you from the evils of our society).  
2. Give two examples from the novel that prove your theme (this should be a piece of cake if you have read and posted to the blog - all the ideas will be right there).
3. Your answer should be between 3 and 5 sentences (full sentences, as grammatically correct as possible).
4. Post your responses in this section by clicking on the title of the page.

Post are due by Saturday, 3/9 at 11:59pm.  Don't wait until the last minute!

While you are reading chapters 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 over break, if you run into any problems or are confused, leave a comment here.  Then, either your classmates or I will help you understand.  This is not graded, nor are you expected to post here over break; however, if you run into problems, I want you to know you can leave a comment here and I will get back to you (or one of your classmates can help).

Week 3

Thank you to everyone who has participated in our blog discussions so far.  Remember, going forward, you can RESPOND to your classmates' posts rather than post something completely new.  As you can see, I've commented on all of your postings so that we begin a dialogue about your thinking.  You can continue those ideas with your group mates.

This week's postings are due on Saturday, 1/26 at 11:59pm.  You should not wait until the last second - post early in the week so you don't forget!

As always, if you have questions, you can always email me.  When some of our bloggers have forgotten how to post to the blog, they've sent their post either via email or Google Drive and then I've copied and pasted their responses to the blog.

Reminders and Tips

Post your first week's theme discussion here.  Remember, it must be submitted for approval by 11:59pm on Saturday, 1/12/13.  Late posts will not be approved and you will forfeit your homework grade for that week for this assignment.

Remember to change the posting log in to "anonymous" (you can find this option directly under the text box where you will post your character update.  Some students have had trouble getting their posting to post if they opt for Google account or any of the other options.
